Skip Daum interned for two lobbyists in Sacramento after 10 years in the USAF as an instructor navigator, and started his own advocacy firm, Capitol Communications Group in 1978. His degree in English from Eme rson College in Boston and his ability to personably and effectively communicate with legislators and staff has enabled him to consistently achieve his clients' legislative goals. During his tenure he has served more than 30 professional and trade associations in numerous industries. CAI has been a client of Skip's since 1994. In September 2011 Skip was selected to serve as a Board Director for the Foundation for Community Association Research, an entity whose purpose is to research major HOA issues and provide results to the community association industry nationwide.
Ron Kingston's accomplishments are well recognized in the state as a result of a deep knowledge of historical, political, functional and technical aspects of real estate being the lobbyist for the nations largest state trade association for almost 30 years. During the time he represented that association, he specialized in many policy and legal issues, most notably: landlord and tenant law; state housing laws; real estate finance; real estate license law; real estate disclosure and; common interest development law.
He is the President of the California Political Consulting Group (CPCG) and has been retained by national bond companies, statewide common interest development financial planning corporation, the largest national and state trade association for homeowner associations, CAI, and one of the largest regional apartment associations in the nation. |
